Why it is Important to Pray first Before Meditating the Word?

Prayer is important before reading the Holy Scriptures. Remember, it's not a man-made book, and the word is from God, flowing down from His throne. Prayer cultivates our spirit of humility and dependence on God, acknowledging that we are seeking His guidance and wisdom to fully understand His Holy Scriptures.

Secondly, we invite the Holy Spirit to tender and widen our hearts so that when the Holy Spirit reveals the deeper meanings of the highest teachings, we can fully understand in our hearts and minds what the word of God is teaching us.

How can meditating on the Word of God in the morning help to set the tone for the rest of our day and create a positive mindset?

Meditating on the word may be difficult to commit to, but through effort and commitment, it is never in vain in God's eyes. If you can meditate in the morning, it will be better for your spirit. You will see how the word changes you every day of your life. Meditating on the word will guide you throughout your day by the power of the Holy Spirit. This is also how I am trying my best to live every day, to be connected with the Lord Almighty! This way, He can guide you in every effort and action you commit.

As Proverbs 03:08 says, "This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.

Why do you journal or make a scrapbook?

When journaling about my day and a specific bible verse, what helps me is to be creative in my journal. This way, I can better reflect on my thoughts and feelings, and I can look back on my scrapbook in the future.

Every week, I upload a Bible verse and reflection journal. You can find inspiration and ideas for Bible verses to reflect on.

There are many writing tools you can reflect on a bible verse:

Note: There are many ways to reflect on a Bible verse or even on your day. It's up to you to decide how you want to write, but I have already provided you with some ideas.

Meditating the Word At Night

How can nightly meditation on the Holy Bible help us to prepare ourselves spiritually for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in the days to come, and give us a sense of hope and encouragement as we move forward in our faith journey?

If we know this in our hearts, why are we not committing to meditate on God's words at nighttime? There should be no problem at all. Let's seek His presence through His word and have faith within them. At the end of the day, He knows what our path will be. Proverbs 16:09 says, "In their hearts, humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps."

We also need to make an effort while we live, such as working, so that we may be able to feed ourselves.

What art tools did you use when journaling

01. Knaid Vintage Scrapbook Supplies Pack

This is one of my scrapbook material with a set of 200 pieces of assorted paper and sticker ephemera kit, including 120 pieces of matte writing paper and 80 pieces of translucent washi stickers.

The pack features nature-themed designs, such as butterflies, ferns, mushrooms, flowers, plants, trees, old newspaper articles, and is multi-use, perfect for various art projects like scrapbooking, and decorating planners.

02. 48 Rolls Vintage Washi Tape Set

This Vintage Washi Tape Set with 48 rolls of washi tape, perfect for adding a retro theme to bullet journals, notebooks, and DIY projects. The designs inspired by vintage flowers, subtle lettering, and beautiful colors. The washi tape comes in six different width sizes and dual layers for better protection and easier cutting. Usually, I use washi tapes on the side corner of cutted vintage paper for aesthetic and style purpose.

These 16 beautiful styles of magnetic bookmarks are perfect for using while reading the Holy Bible or as a great reminder in my notebook with uplifting words from Heaven. Each bookmark features bible verses and chapters from the book, as well as positive phrases to motivate and encourage personal growth. The bright colors and foldable design make them easy to use and store. You could also share them with friends to promote reading and record-keeping. It's a great gift idea for any occasion! Let's spread the love for reading together.

04. Colored Set Of Markers

These colored markers are the ones I used to write on the pages of my journal. They are dual-tip pens with a brush tip marker and a 0.4mm fine tip, which allows for fine, medium, or bold strokes with a tilt. They come in a set of 36 unique colors with color-coded caps for easy recognition. The pens are made of non-toxic, odorless, acid-free, and water-based liquid with nylon fiber brush tips, making them perfect for mixing and layering colors.

05. Colored Post-Its

I'm excited to share with you these lovely pastel Post-Its that come in 8 different colors: red, pink, orange, yellow, green, light blue, blue, and purple. I love using them to create vintage paper by crumpling them up, and then I use the Scrapbook Tape Glue to add them to the pages of my notebook. This technique takes my journaling to another level, and it's so much fun to experiment with different colors and textures. I hope you try it out too!

06. Scrapbook Tape Glue

This is one of the scrapbook adhesive tape roller runners that I used on my papers, such as vintage scrapbook paper or aesthetic junk paper. You can purchase any tape glue and vary colors you like. I purchased them from Amazon, Temu or in Arts and Craft Stores - Michelle or Joann's. They are compact, lightweight, and easy to carry around, making them perfect for on-the-go projects. The adhesive tape offers a mess-free application with these double-sided tape rollers that do not leave any residue, unlike liquid adhesives.
